9 The Malthouse

Situated on the Yealm Estuary in one of the most attractive and unspoiled villages in Devon, this cottage has wonderful estuary views.

Sitting right beside the shoreline (tidal) this one-bedroom cottage with two private parking spaces and a small private quay (no boat available, but small rowing dinghies can be hired locally), has really wonderful views of the Yealm Estuary. All windows overlook the estuary.

Double fitted bedroom with door leading directly onto the quay (for safety and security this must be kept locked when not in use, especially if you have any children with you). Additional 1 or 2 adults and/or 1 or 2 children under twelve can be accommodated [using the double sofa bed OR 2 single chairbeds]. Colour TV. Fully fitted bathroom (instant shower over the bath). In the hall is the 'laundry cupboard' with the washing machine and separate tumble drier. Another hall storage cupboard includes space to hang damp clothes etc.

Living room - comfortable large suite etc plus double sofa-bed and 2 single chair-beds, plus a child's highchair (2 heights). Huge southwest-facing windows stretching around two walls, and two side windows, colour TV, DVD, music centre and radio.

The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, small fridge, separate small freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, food mixer, coffee maker etc. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cookware. Creda double oven full-size electric cooker with grill in the upper oven. Hot water is by off-peak electricity with booster if needed. The cottage is heated by wall panels with individual thermostatic controls and timers. Electricity is included up to a limit of £20 a week. Bedding and bed linen plus towels for 2 persons is included. Only if extra persons are properly booked and paid for can bedlinen be supplied for them. Towels hire for extra persons is charged at £9 per person per week.
