The attractive, self-catering Norwegian log cabins have two en suite bedrooms. The cabins overlook the fairway of Cottesmore's 9th hole on the Griffin course. Residents will be able to use all the facilities the club has to offer. There are also many country pursuits to be enjoyed in the local area.
The country club has two mature eighteen-hole golf courses, indoor heated swimming pool with spa, sauna, steam room, beauty salon, gym and tennis courts. The clubhouse bar and restaurants can also be enjoyed by our guests.
From the clubhouse balcony you can look out over the golf courses and it is hard to believe that you are only 15 minutes from Gatwick airport, 1 hour from the centre of London or half an hour to Brighton and the south coast.
With a choice of two eighteen-hole golf courses, Cottesmore is a challenge for even the best golfer. At 6,248 yards, ‘The Griffin’ is a mature and testing course that incorporates elevated tees, lakes, and woodland. A more forgiving alterative is provided by ‘The Phoenix’ course, which has a mature parkland layout. For any golfer the lasting impression will be one of a beautiful and tranquil setting, particularly in the spring, when numerous rhododendron bushes provide a spectacular display of colour.
Two all-weather tennis courts and a fully equipped gym complete with its range of aerobic and weight machines will more than satisfy the energetic. Exercise of a more gentle nature can be enjoyed in the 15m swimming pool, whilst those wishing to really relax can unwind in the sauna, steam room and spa. For the ultimate pampering experience, why not visit the beauty salon and treat yourself to one of the holistic treatments.
The Challis Restaurant offers residents, members and guests a choice of food that will satisfy even the biggest appetites.
