Ramsteads is a quiet woodland setting for seven simple but comfortable timber chalets which are all different. It is a small family owned and run 26-acre estate in the heart of the Lake District, tucked away off the beaten track yet surrounded by some of the best loved countryside in Lakeland and within easy reach of many places of interest.

The estate is a mature natural mixed woodland with areas of rough grassland and wetland. It is home to a variety of wildlife with a diversity of habitats. The chalets are situated on the western edge of the woodland and are equipped with all necessities for a self-catering holiday. Ramsteads suits those who wish simply to relax in its quiet surroundings or who want to use it as a base for photography, painting, walking, cycling, climbing, sailing or other outdoor activities.
