The Courtyard Helsby is an oasis of stylish properties built in 1826 in Cheshire brick and set around a 200 year old cobbled courtyard with Helsby Hill in the background it makes a perfect place for you to stay. Roger and Jill Maher are the owners and in 2007 they designed the 3 individual properties with you in mind. All the luxury properties are self contained offering you space, privacy and flexibility. Just 10 minutes from historical Chester by car or train and 5 minutes from the Medieval market town of Frodsham celebrating its 800th anniversary in 2009.
The Courtyard attracts guests from all over the world due to its location and accessibility for the North West. Cheshire is Home of England's finest Gardens and you will find Arley, Ness and Tatton Park are 15/20 minutes away. Chester Zoo, Blue Planet and Cheshire Oaks (designer heaven)are just a ten minute drive. You will find The Courtyard a perfect place to unwind and great for walkers, Cyclists, families & friends to enjoy. Free hi-speed WiFi is included to keep you 'in touch'.
Rooms Description
The Carriage Barn (sleeps 7), 3 spacious bedrooms with luxury beds and pure white bedding. Each room has its own en-suite. This wonderful cottage is full of character beams and furnished in a contemporary style with an amazing lounge/dining area to seat up 10 people. It's just great for friends or families who want their own space. Large breakfast/kitchen and large enclosed garden.
The Stables (sleeps 4) has two double bedrooms, one fantastic bathroom with large bath and shower over, a lovely lounge/dining and kitchen with a private enclosed courtyard garden. View of Helsby Hill.
The Loft (sleeps 2 with option of another bedroom to sleep up to 5) is a spacious five star haven with split level lounge/dining area with a fabulous leather sofa with chaise and a contemporary kitchen with integrated appliances. Large bathroom, separate dressing room. Undercover parking.
