Located in the idyllic setting of Upper Wharfedale, at the centre of the
Yorkshire Dales National Park, the village of Buckden nestles in the valley
below Buckden Pike and is surrounded by National Trust land.
Dalegarth offers luxury accommodation amidst the landscaped grounds of a Georgian walled kitchen garden, bounded by a stream. The cottages have 2 bedrooms, one with en suite facilities; superb kitchen and a second bathroom with private sauna; a first floor lounge/dining room has patio door windows accessing a balcony, overlooking Wharfedale and the hills beyond.
The three Ghyll Cottages, 200 metres from Dalegarth, were designed so that a family member with a mobility problem could holiday in comfort. The ground floor comprises a bedroom (either double or twin), full en suite bathroom (with spa bath), a south-facing lounge/dining room and kitchen. A second bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. ‘Heron Ghyll’ has the benefit of a third (optional) double bedroom, upstairs. The cottage entrances are all ‘step free’.
