Three charming cottages sleeping from 2 - 10
Set in the Glendale Valley and over looking the Cheviot Hills, Turvelaws Holiday Cottages are on a working farm just half a mile from the attractive market town of Wooler. The farm is at the edge of the National Park - perfect for exploring the beautiful Cheviots – and is ideally situated between the historic towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Northumberland's Heritage Coast and the Scottish Borders are also easily reached within half an hour
We have recently renovated our old farm buildings and while we have retained many of their original features we have married together the old and the new, fitting each cottage with today's state-of-the-art eco-friendly technology – rain water harvesting units, air source heating and therma-fleece insulation.
In addition to this, each cottage has underfloor heating and is fully equipped to the highest standard providing contemporary, comfortable and relaxing accommodation.
Two of the cottages are set in the grounds of the main farmhouse and the other only a field away. The owners are close at hand to provide a first class service ensuring guests have all the information they need regarding local amenities/activities and tourism in the region.
The Smithy and The Dovecot are perfect for hiring together for a larger party – please contact us if you are interested.
Each cottage has its own information pack on our recommendations on where to eat in the area / region, but if you have any questions, please contact Sarah - she'd be happy to advise on where to eat.
A welcome pack of basic items is provided, but we are also happy to do a small supermarket/deli shop for you, bought and unpacked prior to arrival. Again, please contact us if you're interested.

All prices are inclusive of heating, linen and towels.
- Welcome Pack : Milk, eggs, bread, bacon, cereal and a complimentary bottle of wine.
- Homemaid : Catering service. Delicious home made meals for the freezer using locally sourced produce where possible. Delivered to your cottage prior to arrival.
- For that special occasion a dinner party can be fully catered for enabling you to enjoy the ultimate evening at home.
