This striking Lake District self-catering house is nestled in the Borrowdale Valley, less than a ten minute drive from the charming market town of Keswick, and features several additional extras too.

Its elevated position overlooks Lake Derwentwater and the Catbell Mountain range and the floor-to-ceiling windows capture these magnificent panoramic views perfectly. Doors lead to naturally secluded gardens, trees and woodland and also to the Lodore Falls - few places can boast a waterfall just beyond their back garden!

Lodore House is perfect for groups and with lots of activities on the doorstep and plenty of exploring to be done in the area, it is an excellent base for your Lake District break.

Facilities

Comfortably sleeping up to ten guests, facilities in the cottage include four large bedrooms, (one en-suite), plus a further two bathrooms and an additional toilet. The fully equipped kitchen has a large family dining table and there is a large open plan living area with a real log fire (logs provided), ample seating, colour TV, DVD player and music system.

There is also a dining area which makes great use of the large panoramic views. If you don’t want to cook you can order room service from the Lodore Falls Hotel next door or make your way over to enjoy the service in the hotel itself.

You can also use the hotel leisure facilities which include a gym, sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, outdoor tennis court and hot tub with views across Derwentwater and Catbells, perfect for enjoying a glass of bubbly. The Falls Beauty Salon within the hotel is the perfect place for enjoying a foot massage or facial to rejuvenate after a day on the fells.
