Admiral Cottage is uniquely stylish, luxurious and exceptionally well-equipped with quality furnishings and state-of-the-art kitchen and bathroom. It is the ideal self-catering luxury cottage for a celebration break or just to pamper yourselves.
During 2007 the cottage had a major refurbishment and the interior has been beautifully designed to provide a very special holiday experience. With lots of extra touches, your stay at Admiral Cottage will be one you will talk about and remember for a long time.
The Victorian cottage is situated in the delightful village of Meads, on the outskirts of Eastbourne and just a few hundred yards from the seafront. The accommodation comprises a living room with through dining room, kitchen and a luxury bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower. There are two bedrooms, one double, one twin, and a sofa bed in the living room.
Outside is a superb courtyard garden which is ideal for al-fresco breakfasts, lunches or BBQs. The courtyard can be accessed from the dining room onto a decked area for after-dinner drinks or from double doors leading from the kitchen.
Fresh flowers and a tea tray will welcome you and a bottle of wine chilled in the fridge will get you straight in the holiday mood. The bedrooms are elegantly furnished with comfortable beds and crisp designer linens, a choice of pillows and duckdown quilts. Likewise, the bathroom has a selection of quality toiletries and plenty of generously sized soft towels. We also provide dressing gowns for the use of our guests during their stay.
The cottage contains our Eastbourne Holiday Cottages “Out and About Box” which provides information of local attractions, walks, Ordnance Survey maps, bus and railway timetables and food and pub guides. The cottage has a pair of binoculars which are available for guests to use.
If you are celebrating a special event we can organise some treats prior to your arrival, such as chilled Champagne, fresh flowers or hand-made chocolates.
